Luisa
Buehler, a native of the
Chicago
area writes the Grace Marsden Mystery series.
Her first novel, The Rosary Bride: A Cloistered
Death, set the tone for what reviewers have called “a cold case
sizzle”. Her series follows the “cold case” of bygone crimes using a
blend of charming savvy, romance, a touch of the supernatural and of
course, murder. The newest installment of murder and mystic mayhem, The
Innkeeper: An
Unregistered Death, will be released in 2009. Luisa lives in Lisle, IL, with her husband Gerry, their son
Christopher, and the family cat Martin Marmalade.

Native American twist). ECHOES
from the Grave, the fourth in her Sam Casey Series, was released
August 2007.
The Skull, her first YA mystery in the Remy and Roadkill Series,
was released December 2006 and won the Ida Chittum Award for Best YA
Mystery. Her Chase Dagger Series (written as Lee Driver) features one
character who is a shapeshifter, combining mystery with fantasy. CHASING GHOSTS, the fourth
in the Chase Dagger Series, was released in August 2008.
These cross-genre mysteries have won a number of awards over the
years and been re-produced in large print, audiobook, mass market
paperback, and eBook formats. Her
most recent short story, Solving
Life’s Riddle, is on Amazon Shorts.
